Fees

Student Advocacy

Initial telephone consultation is free. Should you decide to hire CASE, you will pay a retainer fee of $600 to cover the first five hours of contracted work which could include any of the following dependent on current needs:

• Review all documents related to your student
• Meeting with you and your student for an initial consultation
• Help you to understand your student’s educational rights
• Provide written, individualized report with suggestions for accommodations/modifications/services and recommended next steps.
• Equip you with written questions to ask school officials to help find common ground
• Attending IEP team meetings

Services are charged at a rate of $120/hour in 15 minute increments. At the end of each month, clients receive an invoice outlining hours and services rendered.

Reduced Rates & Pro Bono Services

For families that are not able to afford the regular rate for services, CASE offers a tiered payment system with the ability to offer reduced rates. 

Eligibility for non-standard are rates based upon size of family and the federal poverty guidelines. If requesting a non-standard rate, clients must provide their last tax year’s household 1040(s) for determination of appropriate rate type.

Travel Fees

Travel requiring more than an hour will be billed at a rate of $50/hour for each hour. Nothing will be billed for the first hour of travel to/from a client meeting.

Professional Development

The initial consultation to discuss staff needs is free. Should a school/district decide to hire CASE for a staff development workshop, approximate rates are as follows:

• 2 Hour Workshops – $800
• 4 hour Workshops – $1,500

These rates include a needs assessment, design and development of a workshop tailored to your school’s needs, and the in-person facilitation of the workshop. Participants of workshops experience both introspective and collaborative activities, as well as tools for practical application of their learning. 

Travel requiring more than an hour will be billed at a rate of $50/hour for each hour. For travel further than a three hour drive, or requiring an overnight stay, costs/fees will be billed at a negotiated fee with client.

Facilitation Services

IEPT facilitation rate is $300 per meeting for up to three hours. Other types of facilitation will either be based on workshop pricing above or agreed upon by both parties based on the scope of the work.

Independent Contractor Services

Rate is dependent upon scope of work and negotiated based upon terms of contract.
